My job is to work ahead of turnarounds and put together plans for the major Rotating Equipment in our facility so that everything is prepared ahead of time.I work with the reliability group and operations as well as engineering, OEM\'S and past practices to put together quality plans for overhauling our major equipment within the turnaround window.

I started work at the Irving Oil Refinery as a Millwright working for Jacobs Industrial Services 20 years ago as a maintenance technician. I have worked though the different levels of supervision over the years to now become Rotating Equipment Manager in the maintenance department and with the help of others as well as my team of millwrights. We work to keep the rotating equipment in reliable shape for long lasting service. I work with everyone from Reliability Engineering, Inspection, Engineering, Machinery Analysis etc. to achieve positive results in the reliability of the equipment I am responsible for. It is a very rewarding job and every day there is something else to learn.
