Led a cross-functional data science team on creating data-driven solutions for clinical partners through data engineering, model development, deployment, validation, and integration with cloud-based platform- Developed end-to-end AI pipeline for worklist prioritization and data quality check, to improve clinical outcome and mitigate workflow disruptions in radiology services- Drove the application of data analytics to provide volume forecasting, root cause analysis, and data-informed insights to enable clinical partners to make data-driven strategic decisions in resource allocation, capacity planning, scheduling, billing, and client management- Built AI models to detect critical findings and quantify disease severity from chest X-ray and CT images, and to reduce the noise level in low-dose CT images. Developed NLP models using pre-trained BERT model to extract pathologies from free-text radiology reports for labeling images, and to detect errors in medical billing code (CPT) for radiology services- Managed a Philips-funded 5-year collaboration with MIT and BIDMC on developing AI solutions for Emergency Room and ICU physicians to assist them in making timely treatment decision, and enable them fast image-querying in large databases of images and reports- Mentored junior scientists and interns (master and PhD students).
