ABOUT VLADIMIR JUSTINVIL

With two decades of hands-on experience across the telecommunications and infrastructure landscape, I’ve built a career defined by engineering precision, technical leadership, and scalable network deployment. My journey has taken me from designing complex metro Ethernet and MPLS networks to leading edge deployment strategies at one of the world’s most influential cloud providers—Amazon Web Services.My foundation was forged in circuit design and optical networking, where I developed and delivered robust DWDM, CWDM, and Ethernet-based architectures. Over the years, I expanded into physical and cyber security integration, SCADA and substation engineering, and large-scale WAN provisioning. I’ve consistently taken on roles where cross-functional collaboration, compliance with regulatory standards (such as NERC CIP), and a deep understanding of routing protocols (MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) were critical to operational success.Now, as a Network Deployment Edge Lead at Amazon AWS, I lead infrastructure programs that connect the digital edge to the core—powering the scalability, reliability, and security that global customers expect. I manage cross-regional deployments, align with key stakeholders, and drive the end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure supporting AWS’s global footprint.What defines my approach is a balance of strategic insight and field execution. I thrive in fast-paced, technically demanding environments and bring an engineer’s mindset to every problem: analytical, resilient, and solutions-oriented. My mission is to continue building the networks of tomorrow by leading with purpose, optimizing with intent, and mentoring the next generation of engineers along the way.
