Since our original focus on PC graphics, we’ve expanded to several other large and important computationally intensive fields. Fueled by the sustained demand for exceptional 3D graphics and the scale of the gaming market, NVIDIA has leveraged its GPU architecture to create platforms for scientific computing, artificial intelligence, or AI, data science, autonomous vehicles, or AV, robotics, metaverse, and 3D internet applications. I am currently sourcing Top Talent for the VLSI Team at Nvidia. Research in circuits and VLSI supports the continuous development of high-performance integrated circuit products with emphasis on low-power and high-performance. The computational demands of real-time 3D graphics, AI, and high-performance computing require the highest performance and efficiency from our integrated circuits. Our research scientists advance the state-of-the-art in digital and analog circuits and develop automated design methodologies for Very-Large-Scale-Integration (VLSI) implementations to meet these computational demands, collaborating with our internal product and engineering teams to bring research ideas to market.
