ABOUT VIVEK REDDY KASIREDDY

I am a Robotics & Software Systems Engineer pursuing a dual degree in Computer Science and Robotics Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. My work focuses on the intersection of real-time control systems, software applications, embedded computing, FPGA-based architectures, and autonomous robotics.Currently, as a Test Automation Engineer at Brooks Automation, I develop real-time FPGA control systems with reliable SPI communication across long-distance links (2–10m), implement LVDS-based architectures in Verilog/VHDL, and design vacuum chamber test stands for thermal and system validation. In parallel, I conduct perception research in the PeAR Lab at WPI, where I design optical phase-mask systems, implement image reconstruction pipelines, and deploy custom deep learning architectures (U-Net with ADMM/FISTA optimization) on NVIDIA Jetson platforms for depth estimation and robotic navigation.Technically, I work extensively in C++, C, Python, MATLAB, Verilog, and embedded Linux environments, with hands-on experience in FPGA design (Quartus, ModelSim), SPI communication, ADC/PWM control loops, CAD (CREO, SolidWorks), PCB-level debugging, and system-level hardware/software integration.I am particularly interested in real-time systems, autonomous platforms, perception-driven robotics, and hardware-software co-design, and building robust, deployable systems that bridge low-level control with intelligent decision-making.
