ABOUT MARTIN ELLIOTT

I have designed a broad spectrum of systems, machines and mechanisms over the course of my 40 years in the field of mechanical design. Industries/ technologies include: high volume flat glass manufacturing equipment, aerospace/defense systems and components for missile and space applications, specialty space chaff manufacturing equipment, electronics packaging and cabling for space and high radiation environments. In the semiconductor industry I have designed vacuum sytems, including high vacuum wafer handling robots, high speed load locks, with wafer cooling and heating capability, as well as atmospheric systems and components including small lot wafer delivery systems (AMHS), wafer transport cassettes and load ports. Most recent engagement has been deep involvement in the design of Automated Supply and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) targeting each-picking for the grocery industry. Well versed in current Computer Aided Design CAD 3D modeling and Analysis software use. I have managed mechanical engineering groups as well as many large scale engineering projects. Specialties: Mechanical Design covering virtually all aspects of system and/or component design.
