ABOUT VIOLETA ABARZUA

With twenty two years of experience in the disability sector, I am deeply passionate about promoting inclusion. I have worked as a support worker in aged care and disability settings, a service coordinator, an enrolled nurse and a passionate advocate. Throughout my various roles, I noticed a significant number of individuals who felt isolated and in need for more choice. My true passion lies in the disability sector, which is why I established Mingle Co. The aim is to provide social events where individuals can socialise, connect and, most importantly, form new friendships.Mingle Co\'s mission is to reduce isolation amongst the disability / neurodivergent community. Our events are meticulously designed to foster an environment of warmth and inclusivity, where everyone is encouraged to be their authentic selves. By offering a platform for social interaction, we aim to break down barriers and build bridges among individuals from all walks of life.We believe in the power of shared experiences and the strength that comes from community support. Our events provide opportunities for people to share their stories, learn from one another, and build lasting bonds. Whether through our friendship events or our neurodivergent women workshops, each event is crafted to celebrate diversity and nurture genuine connections.At Mingle Co, we are committed to making a positive impact by creating spaces where understanding and connections flourish.
