ABOUT VINCENT C.

I graduated with a Masters Degree in Sport Administration from Canisius University in May 2024, after serving as the Digital Media Graduate Assistant for two years. There, I was primarily responsible for both content creation and all of our ESPN+/FloSports broadcasts. Since graduating, I’ve continued to branch out in the world of sports broadcasting, being involved both in front of the camera and in the control room for numerous different entities in addition to continuing work at Canisius, including the Rochester Americans and Knighthawks, the University at Buffalo, Niagara University, USA Hockey, Lancaster Motorplex, Ransomville Speedway, the Race of Champions Modified Series, and Monday Night Football on ESPN/ABC. Since beginning in sports broadcasting, I have had the pleasure of telling stories for more than 15 different sports, and have done play-by-play for some incredible games, including conference championships for the Mid-American Conference, Atlantic Hockey America, and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. I completed my undergraduate studies at Canisius as well, with a double major in journalism (with a concentration in sports broadcasting), and Strategic Communications (with a concentration in media studies). At Canisius, I was a sports reporter for the school newspaper, editor and host of two podcasts, and worked with the ESPN production crew for the school’s NCAA Division I Sports as a student freelancer. While at Canisius, I interned with Trainwreck Sports, growing in sports journalism through their unique perspective and space in Buffalo sports media, and I remain a part of their team to this day, mainly covering the Buffalo Sabres. Additionally, I returned in 2021 to my Alma Mater, becoming the Head of Broadcast and Production at St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, where I graduated in 2018. There, I have the chance to teach students about live sports production, and help eager future broadcasters like I was (and still am) to get opportunities doing each position of a broadcast crew for broadcasts on the NFHS Network.Outside of the sports production world, I am a volunteer firefighter with the Ellwood Volunteer Fire Company in Tonawanda, where I serve as the President and the company’s Public Information Officer. Whenever I’m not broadcasting in the warmer months, you’ll often find me working on or driving my racecar, the #3 TQ Midget for my late grandfather’s racing team, Englewood Collision Motorsports.
