ABOUT VINCE DELACY

I believe a tester must be an advocate for the customer and a warrior against mediocrity. Old doesn\'t mean I am dead, hire me and I will show you.In every way, I work hard to rise to any challenge and succeed. I have a particular skill set that is very flexible in any line of work. Interested in remote work.I am a Senior Network Mentor. After 25 years of Quality Assurance, coaching and directing technical staffs in both the Wind Industry and Computer Software Industry, I have found my calling in the mentoring of my senior cohort. Yet, many ambitions can be realized with available technologies, but subject to certain “tips and tricks” only a fellow senior can spot, translate and execute. Past Positions:Intel/PTI Global Outsourced or Managed ServicesSoftware Testing on a variety of systems and software architectures. Last job was testing on a Tizen phone solution (a variant Linux based OS) and Intel\'s AppUp store. I was learning SoapUI and Burp, while working between the client and server of AppUP. Had the chance to write and execute test cases and from time to time executed SQL scripts.PCC Programming in C++, also Unix. QA Engineer since 1995.As a trainer of Vestas Online Business (VOB) SCADA system, I was the expert at Reporting systems and use. I was the go-to guy training Site Managers and Customers on their SCADA systems. Duties also included reading Availability Contracts tailored for the site and translating said data into the SCADA computer system, resulting in accurate reports for all involved. I love solving puzzles!
