As an Embedded Firmware Engineer at Fluxergy, I contribute to the development of an innovative point-of-care diagnostic platform that integrates molecular, clinical chemistry, immunoassay, and hematology testing into a single system. My role focuses on designing and implementing robust firmware for STM32 microcontrollers, including both bare-metal and FreeRTOS-based applications. I work closely with cross-functional teams—including hardware, assay development, and automation—to lead board bring-up, hardware integration, and embedded Linux development using the Yocto Project. My responsibilities include debugging hardware/firmware interactions, developing tools and documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance (FDA design controls), and supporting continuous system-level improvements. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, I apply my technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to help push the boundaries of decentralized diagnostics.
