Good day to you, let me introduce myself, am Vignesh mani, finished diploma electrical and electronics engineering. working as a Instrument technician in abudhabi having 9 years of experience in Oil and gas Petro chemicals and power plant projects. My experience includes Shutdown and maintenance. My responsibilities included the loop checking, calibrating Transmitters and switches, control valve calibration. Duties Include - Calibration of Process Control Instruments Service and Maintenance of Process Control Instruments Erection of all instruments - Project team member for the company - Handling problems on Flow, Temperature, Pressure Transmitters and Transducers- Do the actual simulation of field instrument and ensured that the signal output (4-20mA) will be received in the DCS. Function test of alarm and trip set point- Loop checking and finding fault of field instrument and ensured that DCS has also getting signals - Calibration of Process Control Instruments Service and Maintenance of Process Control Instruments Erection of all instruments - Project team member for the company - Handling problems on Flow, Temperature, Pressure Transmitters and Transducers- Do the actual simulation of field instrument and ensured that the signal output (4-20mA) will be received in the DCS. Do the function test and ensure the signals are getting to DCS. Loop checking of shutdown valve, blow down valve and on off valve for DI/DO signal set the instrument air working pressure as required base on the data sheet. To ensure the correct position of the valve when doing actual function test and ensure the signals are getting to DCS.
