Victor is the main point of contact for the IBM Data and Application Security practice for Latin America. Currently working as the LA Application Security subject matter expert to help clients improve their application security posture. Victor supports clients around all aspects of Application Security, from consulting assignments to delivery of both consulting and operational security activities. Victor has over 16 years of work experience, 7 years working on Secure Application Development and Application Security Consulting, with knowledge on the SDLC phases, working primarily with Financial clients as well as Retail and data measurement companies. Victor has assisted clients performing assessments to their Application Security Program maturity to help with their AS-IS state, specifically around topics like Secure SDLC and Application Security Policies, Standards, Processes. Experience helping clients implement security controls on early phases of the software development life cycle to avoid incorrect processing of data, helping organizations reduce risks and costs by preventing vulnerabilities like buffer overflow, SQL and code injection in organizational applications.
