ABOUT VERÓNICA SANCHIS BENCOMO
Studied in the U.K, became a mother in Hong Kong and I now live in New York City!I started my career in London assisting commercial studios, multiple photographers and then eventually getting my own clients as a freelance photographer. In 2015, I founded Foto Féminas, an online platform dedicated to promoting the work of Latin American and Caribbean women photographers. Through this initiative, I have curated exhibitions in different countries.In 2022, I started to freelance as photo editor for various clients. In 2026, I joined the NBC News Photography & Art team where I continue to explore the many ways photography can connect, empower, and tell vital stories.
