ABOUT VENEZIA DIAZ

First-generation college student from a single-parent Hispanic household. Passionate and determined to tell stories about Latinx characters, whether in front of the camera or behind it.My perseverance and dedication to acting are evident in my journey—I sought out training in my hometown, auditioned, and was accepted into a film and television conservatory. When I lacked financial support and couldn\'t afford acting lessons, I worked off my tuition by contributing to the company.Awarded a full-ride scholarship to NYU Tisch School of the Arts, I am currently earning my BFA in Drama while double minoring in Producing and the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology.As a versatile production assistant, I have hands-on experience in technical and logistical support, including set assembly, lighting, cue coordination, and loading/unloading. Additionally, I have experience in social media management, editing, scheduling, booking, customer relations, payroll assistance, and merchandise design for a studio/production company. I thrive in fast-paced environments, adapting quickly, working long hours, and executing tasks efficiently.Dedicated to giving back through volunteer work, I have supported underrepresented communities in the arts, ensuring greater accessibility and opportunities for emerging talent.
