I worked at Concentrix as A Customer Service Representative for Uber Drivers for 1 Year and Three Months. Enthusiastic Bachelor\'s of Commerce Accounting and Finance Degree Student looking for a job. I completed an Auditing project for my Advanced Auditing professor in summer 2016. In this group project I answered several questions. For example, what are some internal controls that should be used for the sales cycle for this particular company that sells vacuum cleaners? I was in a group of four people while working on this project. For my part of the project I typed out five pages out of a total of eleven pages. In my report I mentioned that the accountant and/or auditor should match the sales invoice with the purchase order and the shipping document.This is called the three way match. The accountant or auditor should check if these three documents have the same quantities of products ordered, the same prices per unit, and the same document numbers and dates. This is one of the important internal controls within the sales cycle for many companies. This control helps to ensure that the right quantities of products were ordered at the right price on the right date, and delivered to the right customer. I also mention the importance of segregation of duties among employees. In my report the second company involved a restaurant employee stealing cash from this company. He was given too many duties of collecting cash, and depositing it. For many companies one employee opens the mail. Another employee collects payments from customers. Finally another employee deposits the money collected from customers in the companies\' bank account and then records these amounts as sales revenue in the companies computer system when the product is delivered to the customer. This business case demonsrtates how segregation of duties can prevent one or more employees from stealing some cash from their own company or employer. Thank you. Once again I am looking for a job where I can apply my acquired skills in Accounting.
