I am the Founder and CEO of BeamGrid Technologies, a UK-based deep-tech company building next-generation RF systems at the intersection of connectivity, sensing, and climate resilience.BeamGrid operates across three tightly coupled technology pillars:• EchoNet - a passive, battery-free RF resonator platform for structural health monitoring of critical infrastructure (bridges, tunnels, wind and energy assets), enabling low-cost, scalable sensing with long operational lifetimes.• AI-reconfigurable antennas for 5G/6G Non-Terrestrial Networks, focused on smartphone-scale direct-to-device connectivity and hybrid terrestrial–satellite integration.• Longer-term space-based wireless power and energy beaming, aligned with net-zero and future space-energy architectures.My background is deeply technical: I am an RF antenna engineer by training, with industry experience spanning phased arrays, NTN antennas, satellite ground stations, metasurfaces, and space-based solar power concepts. I have worked across both industrial R&D and applied research environments, and I remain hands-on with electromagnetic simulation, system architecture, and IP strategy.What differentiates my approach as a founder is discipline: customer-driven problem selection, early IP protection, rigorous technical risk retirement, and capital-efficient execution. BeamGrid is actively supported by Innovate UK, and we are building partnerships across infrastructure, space, and climate-tech ecosystems.I use LinkedIn to share first-principles thinking on deep-tech entrepreneurship, RF and antenna innovation, climate-positive infrastructure, and the realities of building hardware-led startups : from grants and patents to pilots and scale-up.I am always open to thoughtful conversations with investors, infrastructure owners, researchers, and operators who believe the next decade of impact will be built on real physics, not slideware.
