ABOUT UMER AMEEN

With more than 20 years of experience in bid management, project management, transaction management and asset management in the Middle Eastern and the European markets in the power sector, I am curious about global energy ecosystem that is under transformation at unprecedented scale & pace. I aspire to solve the latest and the most complex challenges in the energy and utilities infrastructure sector helping investors, regulators, developers, consumers and other stakeholders in making better policy, strategy and investment decisions by developing new products, solutions, services and business models. While I have broad experience and knowledge in asset lifecycle costing, financial modelling and assets valuations and prepared models for valuing assets, managing budgets, cash flows and risks, and reporting profit & loss, I am developing capabilities in economics and econometric models by studying MSc Economics part time in University of London.I led business development activities in different economic times by establishing, commercialising and sustaining relationships in multidisciplinary and multicultural networks and adaptable to find creative solutions as per the situation. I managed diverse stakeholders with competing expectations in uncertain and complex situations to define and achieve business vision and tangible objectives.
