ABOUT TYLER ALLEN

I recently completed my MS in Business Analytics at Cal Poly, where I focused on developing advanced skills in predictive modeling, strategy, and data storytelling to drive better business decisions. I have found a passion in using data to solve meaningful problems and uncover insights that lead to real impact. With a foundation in finance and growing experience in tools like Python, SQL, and R, I’m drawn to roles that combine analytics, product thinking, and collaboration. I enjoy breaking down complex problems, testing hypotheses, and helping teams make more informed decisions. Through recent industry projects, I developed a churn prediction model for F5 to help identify at-risk customers and built a similar forecasting tool for Xano to support user retention strategies. These experiences reinforced my interest in applying data to real-world challenges and working closely with cross-functional teams to turn insights into action. Outside of academics and work, I’ve had the opportunity to travel extensively and engage in service-oriented projects, which has shaped how I approach challenges—with curiosity, adaptability, and a broader perspective. I’m excited to keep growing at the intersection of data, technology, and business, and to contribute to teams that value thoughtful, impactful work!
