Successfully sold and transitioned the Central Group of Labs (Central One Optical, Homer Optical, and Cherry Optical) to Essilor Group. Responsible for overseeing continued success of our labs post-sale which includes- Developing strategic and business solutions to anticipate and resolve complex issues related to all aspects of the lab including production, operations, business development, customer relations, staffing, and budget; monitor expenses to ensure unit costs are within established levels- Establishing and monitoring production goals, policies, procedures, and systems related to all aspects of day-to-day lab operations- Monitoring performance of direct reports; provide prompt and objective coaching in accomplishing goals and in job performance; conduct performance and salary reviews- Monitoring lab’s turnover, productivity, and overall performance to ensure performance standards are met- Preparing and reviewing financial performance reports with Essilor Executives- Developing and maintaining partnerships with other Essilor business teams; coordinate with other units to facilitate special requests- Assuring effective communications are maintained within the lab and externally- Establishing positive and professional relationships with vendors and other outside business contacts
