Currently working in the LNG industry as a senior process engineer at the Cheniere Corpus Christi facility, utilizing my engineering background to optimize the Liquefaction process.As a Process Engineering Supervisor at the CITGO Corpus Christi Refinery, I leveraged my extensive experience in process engineering to lead a team of engineers to optimize refinery operations and drive strategic economic decisions. Since joining CITGO after earning my B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana Tech in May 2019, I have been dedicated to providing comprehensive process technical support for the ADP, HF Alky, Cumene, Hydrar, C4SHU, UDEX, and Crude units.My experience in HF alkylation has been particularly rewarding, where I played a key role in the planning and execution of a successful turnaround, ensuring minimal downtime and enhanced efficiency. In addition to HF Alky, I have gained valuable experience in other process units, including reforming and hydrotreating where I contributed to unit outages and turnarounds by supporting vessel inspections and chemical cleans.During my tenure working on the crude unit, I focused on troubleshooting distillation towers and analyzing preheat train fouling. This experience allowed me to implement strategies that improved throughput and operational reliability.Previously, I was leveraging my process engineering background in my role as an Economic Analyst. In this capacity, I conducted backcasting, production planning, and weekly margin analyses to guide the refinery towards the most economically advantageous decisions. By integrating technical insights with economic strategies, I ensure that our operations remain both efficient and profitable in a dynamic market.My journey through various roles and responsibilities at CITGO has equipped me with a robust understanding of refinery processes and economic analysis, enabling me to contribute effectively to our team’s success. I am passionate about driving operational excellence and am always eager to tackle new challenges that come my way.
