ABOUT TRISTAN PETTIT
I am an attorney and shareholder with the Milwaukee law firm of Petrie + Pettit S.C. which has been in existence for over 120 years assisting individuals, families and businesses throughout the state. Petrie + Pettit S.C. specializes in the following areas of law: business law, general civil and business litigation, labor and employment law, landlord-tenant law, corporate law, estate planning, probate, guardianships, wills, estate planning for individuals with special needs, collections, and creditor\'s rights. I focus my practice on landlord-tenant law representing landlords and property management companies. I handle both commercial and residential evictions and the accompanying damage claims for my clients throughout Wisconsin. I have also been involved in litigation dealing with lead-based paint issues, Fair Housing (discrimination) claims, building code orders, bedbugs, public nuisance lawsuits, and both the prosecution and defense of Wisconsin Administrative Code - ATCP 134 - violations. I assist my clients with the drafting and interpretation of commercial leases and residential rental agreements and other rental documents and am the author of the landlord-tenant legal forms sold at Wisconsin Legal Blank Co, Inc, which are used throughout the state. I present seminars on landlord-tenant law and related matters throughout the state to landlords, property managers, landlord associations, municipalities and attorneys. I am the Past-Presdent of the Apartment Association of Southeastern Wisconsin (20••••12) and currently am a member of the AASEW\'s Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
