ABOUT TREVOR ANDERSON

As Senior Climate Action Manager with Mattel, I lead the toy and entertainment company\'s corporate-wide climate strategy.I have a strong background in corporate climate action and over 14 years of experience in the sustainability field. While at Meta, I advanced the company\'s processes for identifying, assessing, and managing climate-related risks and opportunities across its value chain. I also integrated climate risk assessment procedures and findings into other business units, and co-produced Meta\'s first-ever climate-related financial risk report in alignment with TCFD and IFRS S2 standards. As a strategic consulting partner with Edison Energy (now Trio Advisory) and Anthesis, I advised corporate clients on decarbonization strategies to reduce their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and achieve their science-based targets (SBTs) and Net-Zero goals. I also hold the GARP Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) Certificate, the SASB Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) Credential, and the LEED Accredited Professional in Operations and Maintenance (O+M) Certification.I have successfully delivered advisory services on GHG inventory measurement, SBT and Net-Zero goal setting, mitigation measure evaluation, Scope 3 supplier engagement, climate risk, disclosure and reporting, and voluntary carbon market (VCM) strategy and carbon offset procurement. I have worked with clients from various sectors, including automotive, commercial real estate, construction, consumer goods, entertainment, financial institutions, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, power, semiconductor, and technology. I have authored six publications including carbon offset protocols, sustainable facility management guides, and carbon credit methodologies. I am passionate about making the business case for climate action and transitioning to the low-carbon economy.
