The Adoption Authority, Inc. is licensed in the State of Georgia as a non-profit child placing agency. Our staff is made up of professional, caring individuals who have experience in advocating, assisting and supporting children and families. Our focus is to assist you in properly completing the necessary paperwork, alleviating unnecessary anxiety and creating a more pleasant, smooth experience. Because our services are limited, we are able to focus on all of the different regulations governing this portion of the adoption process. ABOUT TRACY RILEY
For years, I have been amazed at how our interactions with our family of origin remain a part of who we are throughout our entire lives. I\'ve dedicated my career and educational focus to working with families regarding multiple areas, including improving relationships, more effective communication, coaching, and empowerment. Being born into a blended family, I am able to understand the dynamics of how families blend, including what works and doesn\'t when it comes to maintaining healthy and successful relationships. I have spent the last several years counseling families and coaching them into how to have success in their homes, relationships, and lives. There are several reasons that a person can experience a grief reaction through loss. Divorce, Death, Moving, Job Loss are just a few examples in our lives, and in the lives of our children. If that loss is not addressed, other problems can arise, such as depression. My speciality is in addressing the pain and difficulties associated with a loss. I am able to help individuals, families, and couples express their grief through therapeutic activities which will allow processing, growth, and resolution of the loss. Four years ago, I founded The Adoption Authority in Georgia. One year later, I expanded this licensed child placing agency to Florida as well. Since that time, we have placed nearly 20 infants and children in adoptive homes. Specialties: Tracy is able to meet one on one with families and individuals to provide a variety of services including counseling, referrals, and coaching.
