ABOUT TRACY CROFT

An experienced Operations lead, with a diverse background across industries. A life journey of seeking out challenges, learning and new experiences has led to the exciting pot of gold wonder that is the Tourism sector. Back to her hospitality roots after a long time away and bringing a full tool bag of strategy and leadership skill to most certainly her final destination! As General Manager - Marine and Tourism, SeaLink SA, Tracy leads the teams responsible for the Kangaroo Island Ferries, Coach Operations in Adelaide and on KI, Adelaide Sightseeing, Vivonne Bay Lodge and the Murray Princess. With 25 years experience working across policy development, infrastructure and community capacity building, grant development, project & program management, human resource management and administration in the Commonwealth government sector - leading people to affect change. For 5 years, her role was in a strategy development capacity working in the Public Groups and International sector (Large market), where she worked on one of the six Strategic Programs for the ATO as part of the Reinventing the ATO initiative. Tracy has also worked in the Individuals market sector, focused on the digital engagement and improvement of the client experience across all facets of the business that impact Individuals specifically in Single Touch Payroll and Superannuation New Measures space. Tracy has also worked at Minda Incorporated, one of the largest NFP providers in the disability sector in South Australia as Program Manager in the Quality and Business Information Systems Portfolio - her work was focused on digital transformational change to improve Quality outcomes, with the application of technology for social impact a priority. Tracy is a skilled practitioner in the areas of project and program management and user centred design, she has extensive leadership of large teams, working across whole of Operations, government policy development and implementation, where stakeholder engagement and management is critical. In addition, Tracy is certified as a Scaled Agile Framework Agilist (SA) and in SPM/PO, proficient in the use of Scrum methodology for agile product development to complement more traditional waterfall approaches. Collaborating and working with others is Tracy’s preferred style.
