ABOUT TRACY ANDERSON
In the early I started my career after attending Columbia College Chicago. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Communications. Not knowing what I wanted to do when I left college, I spent 25 years trying to find myself and where I best fit. I first started my journey in audio-visual production. I was a production coordinator and project manager for AV company\'s Show Department, Production Resource Group, and AVTS. I left Chicago around 2007 and embarked on a career in hotel sales, doing corporate and social events. I moved to Madison, Wisconsin, after a four-year career in hotel sales in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I continued my hotel career shortly after moving to Madison. Then I was introduced to a broadcast media company Midwest Family Marketing where I sold eight radio stations and became an on-air personality as a Co-Host for a morning show in Madison, Wisconsin, on 93.1 Jamz. After working in radio for seven years, I had a short stint at a magazine publication where I sold ads. I finally became fortunate enough to be introduced to my current Community Outreach & Volunteer Manager role at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County. My career path was a challenging one. I’ve had so many wonderful opportunities along the way but never really found the right fit. At my ripe age, I finally realized I needed everything in my previous positions, but being of service to others was the one thing that had been missing. I finally feel aligned with my work and have found where I belong. I’m also hosting two radio shows part-time, one in La Crosse and one in Baraboo, Wisconsin, Mix 96.1 and Mix 106.9, and working on my own podcast, Catchin’ Up with Tray Tray. The stars have finally aligned, and I’m doing everything I want in the career that I have worked so hard for. I finally feel like I belong and I’m doing what I’m meant to do. I’m a Reliable and diligent Community Outreach & Volunteer Manager and Radio Host with remarkable talent and experience in mass media—winner of WBA Best Morning Radio Show in a Large Market WJQM on Krista & The Morning Rush. I always look forward to maintaining a loyal fan and client base with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. With over 25 years of experience, my work has varied from Event coordinator, sales, media, and community outreach.
