Notable Policy Wins:2025- Secured $750K in state budget to continue the successful statewide Alzheimer\'s Awareness Campaign. Developed, negotiated, and secured Arizona\'s first-ever administrative rules for Memory Care Services effective July 1, 20••••24- Passed legislation creating a regulatory framework for Memory Care services in Assisted Living Facilities, improving safety and quality of care within long term care facilities, and increasing oversight and accountability. Included $1.2M in state budget for new enforcement positions.2023- Secured $1.7M in FY24 state budget to create Alzheimer\'s programs at the Dept of Health Services, including the review, update and implementation of the Arizona Alzheimer\'s State Plan between FY24-FY26 and an Alzheimer\'s Awareness Campaign targeted at rural and underserved areas.
