ABOUT TONY WATTS

I am a security specialist with over 20 years proven success in both mobile and static guarding sectors. My vast knowledge has been gained from working with all types of companies whether they operate a single response vehicle or a capability to cover multiple services on a national basis. My experience allows me to not only manage daily operations but quickly identify and improve any areas that require attention. I enjoy identifying weaknesses, creating and planning the required improvements, implementing the change and get great self satisfaction from seeing my plans improve performance or productivity. I enjoy the variety that mobile operations involves as it allows me to work at the coalface or at boardroom level. The operations department is the engine room to any business and as such I thrive on the responsibility of keeping it driving forward. I am also experienced at managing a sub-contractor network, sourcing new providers and building relationships and then strategically allocating work and monitoring performance to ensure estates stay optimized. Along with relationship management I am able to audit service partners to ensure the industry standards are being followed. This also allows me to advise and guide where required to help service partners improve their own internal processes. I am a member of the British Standards Institute and was the operational consultant for the recent BS7984 update.
