In my current role as the SPS Business Planning Expert, I manage end-to-end planning activities, including demand forecasting, stock target setting, and supply planning for a network of 4 central and 120 market locations. Key responsibilities include:Auditing advanced planning tools to validate parts parameters (safety stock, reorder points) for optimizing replenishment, procurement, balancing, and master data management.Formulating strategies to mitigate stock-outs and improve Customer Fill Rate.Analyzing historical demand trends to enhance forecast accuracy and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) metrics.Representing SPS Planning in lifecycle projects, considering service parts implications in NPI (New Product Introduction), engineering changes, Last Time Buy, PIPO (Phase In/Out), aged inventory, and E&O (Excess and Obsolete) projects.Engaging in performance improvement initiatives and Hoshin activities to contribute to SPS priorities.Collaborating with supply chain partners to align demand and forecasting with inventory reduction, supplier transfers, and lead time reduction projects.Managing supply escalations for key business units including Ultrasound, Hospital Patient Monitoring, Emergency Care, Sleep & Respiratory Care, Ambulatory & Medical Diagnostics, and Enterprise Diagnostic Informatics.Supporting supply chain recovery plans focused on back-order management and recovery.Leading cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.In this role, I am committed to ensuring a seamless operation of the supply chain for service parts, enhancing efficiency, and aligning activities with business objectives.Achievements: Achieved a 95% fill rate: Managed the Sleep & Respiratory Care (S & RC) portfolio during the pandemic Validated and implemented a new repair vendor: Acted as Supply Manager for SPS in this initiative Mentored in reverse mentoring program: Served as Magnetic Resonance Business Leader Mentor
