As the Head of Supplier Management, I’m part of the crucial part of the Operations of the company, leading the team who builds and strengthens relations with our key Suppliers in the Americas, creating our own network. Expereo sells global network connectivity to Enterprise businesses and my job is to buy that connectivity to provide an unmatched service to our customers.These are my responsibilities and achievements: • Reduced team’s OPEX by 65%($100k per year) by efficiently migrating positions to a more cost effective region without losing any productivity.• Responsible for the procurement of internet and telecom services, managing supplier relationships throughout North America and LATAM;• Manage a team of 12 Supplier Relations Managers, establishing goals, KPIs, evaluating their performance, coaching and motivating team members;• Achieve annual savings on the installed base ($300k per year);• Negotiate pricing and T & Cs with local Telco carriers/service providers;• New Supplier engagement. Expand footprint / network by exploring business opportunities with new and existing service providers;• Manage strategic suppliers for projects, negotiate projects costs, analyze and perform cost reductions;• Account management with key partners. Review vendor’s operational and commercial performance, source new providers/products;• Attend conferences and tradeshows/fairs in the region;• Internal collaboration with Sales and Solutions Teams across the Globe to fulfill customer design.• Support Finance, Service Delivery and Support teams on escalations and problem resolution.• Close collaboration with legal department on the MSAs/country regulations.
