ABOUT TOM DAVIES

Hey there! My name\'s Tom.I\'m currently freelancing, helping a wide variety of brands bring creativity to their marketing campaigns, and strategy to their social content.Having begun my career at the BBC, before spending four years at marketing agency Jellyfish, I\'ve got a broad experience of working with both entertainment and corporate clients; and have been lucky enough to work with some globally-famous brands and creators.In the last few years, I\'ve spent much of my time leading social campaigns, strategy refreshes and pitch responses; mostly in creative director, strategy, or fractional CMO roles.I\'ve worked with a lot of clients who are making great social content, but need an approach they can back up in the board room, or have a great marketing strategy but aren\'t sure how to bring it to life on TikTok and Instagram.Outside of my marketing work, I\'m a content creator (50k followers), co-own a board game publishing brand, am a freelance on-air correspondent for BBC Radio 2, and spent several years heading up a music festival, looking after an organisation of 300 people.Although most of my career has been spent working in social media, I\'m a \"platform agnostic\", which is a posh way of saying I\'m good at coming up with an idea, and then working out how to do it. In the last few years I\'ve taught myself to build websites and mobile apps, put on live events, published a book, and turned my old Roberts radio into an internet-enabled printer. I\'ve also got experience of working in television, and on long-form video content.I\'m always keen to meet new and interesting people, so whether you think we might be able to work together, or you just fancy a chat, please do get in touch.
