I have extensive experience as a journalist in a broadcasting environment with excellent news judgement and understanding of different news agendas. I plan and set the news agenda for various strands on BBC One\'s regional news programme in London.I work well under pressure and have sound editorial judgment - output editing in the gallery, breaking news and developing stories with producers and presenters. In a news organiser capacity, I\'m responsible for the delivery of all content and help produce and line manage a team of reporters, producers and technical staff. I\'d also drive the coverage of breaking news and diary events ensuring the best use of staff and resources, whilst liaising with network colleagues. I\'d be responsible for assigning all reporters, correspondents, camera crews and broadcast vehicles in the London newsroom together with all the support they need to do their job on the road.I\'m one of a team who yearly select and interview from thousands of applicants for places on the Journalism Trainee Scheme.I have been responsible for large scale OBs and events at major news stories including disasters, huge festivals and annual events in both the UK and abroad including 7/7 and The Oscars in Los Angeles.
