ABOUT TOM YOUNG

Currently developing the People Strategy for the Bank of England in their expansion into the regions, specialising in creating their Early Careers and Future Talent offering for the 24/25 season.Previously I oversaw the Recruitment Sourcing strategy for Accenture’s UKI market, managing an operational team providing market intelligence and strategic sourcing. In addition I oversaw and streamlined the UKI talent pooling, referrals and alumni processes.Prior to Accenture I spent many years with Teach First, an educational charity striving for educational parity for low income students. In my final role with Teach First I project managed the change management projects to position the organisation to deliver one of the largest Dept. Of Education recruitment contracts in history. I also worked on the overhaul of the organisations AtS and CRM systems. I began my time at Teach First as an Early Careers Recruiter, attracting students onto the Teach First Training Programme, before being promoted to Manager grade. I led on the development and delivery of a national Early Careers strategy, whilst also leading internal training and development for a department of approx 40 staff across 3 levels.In summary I am a seasoned Talent Acquisition professional with experience across the full recruitment strategy (Experienced Hire, Early Careers, Strategic Sourcing, Operations) however specialising in Early Careers. I have extensive people management experience whilst a proven record in delivering recruitment strategies and change projects for private and public sector entities.
