ABOUT TOM WOGINRICH

I am currently working with leading AI, analytics, IoT and OT technologies to support client business efforts to gain efficiency and value in the asset management and maintenance & reliability business. My hands-on experience gives me a unique perspective in technology solutioning. It is my role to assist companies willing to take advantage of the technology now available to help them identify the financial value and efficiency afforded by these technologies. The combination of analytics, IoT, AI and machine learning has truly moved us into Industrial Revolution 4.0. It is the merge point of IT, OT and IoT that is now bringing significant value to the asset management space. My passion is asset and maintenance management. I have developed an approach to maintaining assets through a method called Knowledge-Based Asset Management (K-BAM). The K-BAM continuum functions at the \"sweet spot\" of the Asset Lifecycle (Strategy -> Plan -> Design -> Build -> Operate -> Maintain -> Modify -> Dispose)- overlapping in the \"Operate\" element, covering the \"Maintain\" element and overlapping in the \"Modify\" element. Utilizing the K-BAM continuum to feedback into the Asset Lifecycle closes the P-D-C-A loop. Cognitive, IoT and Analytics are native components of K-BAM. My goal is to utilize K-BAM to bring the use of this leading edge technology to fruition in a way that it redefines Maintenance Management as we have known it. My vision of K-BAM is: Enabling all levels of the workforce to make asset management decisions at the point of work, anywhere, anytime.
