ABOUT TOM WHITAKER CHARTERED
I am currently operating as Group Procurement Manager within the Building Services and HVAC industry for Forth Group Services. The Group currently has a portfolio of 5 dynamic and highly-skilled businesses operating within the building services sector for a tier one client base. I have previously worked in & led teams to deliver solutions that cover soft and hard FM requirements at UoS, as well as, capital buildings projects and long-term maintenance (LTM) schemes. I also have previous experience of working on the procurement of labs and scientific equipment, as well as, IT procurement within local government (HCC) & HE sector (UoS).I am a firm believer in the development of people and continuous improvement to maximise potential of both myself and others. As such, I actively seek out opportunities to learn or undertake training, wherever possible.I am currently in the final stages of working towards obtaining full MCIPS status. I am working through the remaining modules of Level 6 syllabus (Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply).
