Key Responsibilities​Fire Alarm System Maintenance:• Perform routine weekly, monthly, half-yearly, and yearly preventive maintenance and testing on conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.​Conduct fault-finding, repair, and replacement of fire alarm system components.• Ensure all maintenance activities strictly adhere to relevant local regulations, codes, and standards (e.g, NFPA, BS 5839).• Maintain accurate and detailed service reports and logbooks for all fire system work.​Emergency Lighting System Maintenance:• Execute periodic testing (e.g, monthly functional and yearly full-duration tests) and maintenance of emergency lighting systems.• Diagnose and repair faults in emergency lighting units and central battery systems.​Nurse Call System Maintenance:• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on nurse call systems (both hard-wired and wireless).• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with patient call points, display panels, and associated network infrastructure promptly.​Documentation and Compliance:• Maintain comprehensive service records, test certificates, and maintenance history for all serviced equipment.• Assist in audits and inspections related to fire and safety systems.• Manage spare parts inventory for essential maintenance tasks.​Reactive and Emergency Response:• Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and system faults for all covered systems.• Provide high-quality repairs and temporary fixes to minimize operational disruption.
