ABOUT TOM EVANS
I am an experienced housing Partnerships & Development Manager at Hull City Council. I oversee new housing delivery to support our growth plans. I facilitate new build housing programmes through a mix of long term strategic developer partnerships, the direct delivery of an ambitious new build Council housing programme and seeking new opportunities to deliver. I am experienced in the development and planning process including appraising viability for residential development schemes in a very challenging environment. I have experience of Identifying and securing external funding to promote high quality new housing schemes to help our neighbourhoods thrive. I enjoy the challenge of delivering projects, balancing competing needs for high quality, cost control and timely delivery. I am passionate about sustainable housing delivery and delivering innovative new homes for the future as we look to deliver thriving neighbourhoods offering economic, social and environmental value.I am a fully Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Housing, I hold PRINCE2 and have become an accredited NEC3 Project Manager. I successfully gained an MSc in Urban Regeneration in 2017. I am an open minded professional always keen to explore new ideas and generate value to support our wider goals and objectives.
