ABOUT TODD HOULETTE
Twenty+ years of making work that connects with people on an emotional level. Big ideas that get noticed and mean something. That\'s always been the goal for every brand I\'ve worked on, whether it\'s Mercedes-Benz, T-Mobile, Nike and a slew of others in between.Growing up around artists and musicians shaped the way I think about making things. My mom was an art teacher, my dad a jazz drummer, and I still make music myself under the name The Happiness Wars. Creativity came early and never really left. Starting as a sculptor and a designer, I still think about making work the same way. What does this need to say, and what\'s the most unexpected way to say it. Nothing should be accidental. Even the happy accidents.Technology has always been part of the process, from pressure testing and visualizing ideas to building presentations. I’ve been using tools like Midjourney since the Discord days, and working with Runway and Sora long enough to know where each one is strong and where it isn\'t. AI is just another tool. It\'s only as good as the thinking behind it. A pretty damn powerful one, though. Because speed without judgment is just a faster way to make slop. Big ideas will always win. Now, on to the professional stuff.
