During this period I was part of the Customer Engagement which owned cross sell and recommendation features across the product.This team later transitioned their domain ownership area to work on product specific categories, with the mission of improving the booking for specific categories of products across all levels of the product, from the customer facing features to the supplier facing side.I took part in leading the development of projects that span multiple domains across multiple systems, with technologies such as Vue.js, Typescript, Java and PHP.I also led our Web Performance group, defining how we monitor and track web performance, creating training materials and helping teams understand and fix potential performance issues.Later on I returned to the Reviews team where I worked on the part of the product dedicated to customer Reviews and user generated content.

I’m a Full Stack Software Engineer with over 15 years experience in a variety of companies of different sizes, growth stages and business domains.A lot of my career was spent closer to the Frontend side of things, but I have experience all over the stack. In more recent roles I was more heavily involved with architecture and developer experience of systems used by dozens of developers, as well as other aspects such as reliability and observability of these systems.I’m at my best when working with and collaborating with different teams and helping solve problems at a higher level. I enjoy solving not just the technical aspect but the product or organizational level of problems. I’ve helped design and revamp technical recruitment processes and conducted many interviews.I enjoy the aspect of mentoring and working with less experienced developers and I’ve also had the opportunity to briefly aid with line management.I also had some experience with public speaking and event organization.
