I am patent litigation lawyer with a background in physics. I have experience with all types of intellectual property and sectors and specialise primarily in high tech and engineering patent litigation. Due to my technical background, I am well placed to understand the legal issues in the context of the relevant technology and advise clients accordingly.I have worked on a number of high profile high tech and engineering patent disputes before the Patents Court and Court of Appeal in the UK and the UPC in Europe. This includes, for example, JCB v Manitou and Add2 v dSPACE in the UK and Meril v Edwards in the UPC. I have also worked on landmark life sciences litigation including Takeda v Roche and Genentech v the Comptroller General of Patents.
