ABOUT TITA BENCOMO-COOPER
I am a proactive and organized creative with aspirations to work whole-heartedly in world-building and story development. As a priority, I wish to champion under-represented stories, and am committed to deconstructing the over-exploitation of creatives in the industry. I have 8 years industry experience gathering a wide range of skillsets and gaining exposure to industry practice. I have experience with short film, feature film, reality television, and internet content production, as well as agency and business affairs experience. I\'ve worked in a variety of areas including global branded entertainment, motion picture talent, motion picture writers, and motion picture producers. My goal is to produce for storytellers focused on complex characters, prioritizing the stories of LGBTQ+ folks, and those of Black, Indigenous, and other Global Majorities. I believe that Black Lives Matter, I believe trans rights are human rights, and I honor the Indigenous tribes whose stolen land we all live on and their pursuit of Land Back. I support a FREE PALESTINE and am committed to decolonization and collective reprograming towards systems of reciprocity.
