As Inclusion Strategy Lead for CBC News, I am fully focused on the initiatives that make CBC an industry leader in inclusion. I am a champion for the work, a sounding board for staff, and hold a seat at CBC News\' senior leadership table so I can help the division continue to ensure Inclusion is top of mind and a core part of everything CBC News undertakes. As part of my role, I communicate with staff about progress and challenges, and I connect with inclusion work happening across CBC and the industry. My past experience as a producer in podcasting, TV documentary, and radio gives me the knowledge, connection, and empathy to understand the needs of colleagues in production environments.
