ABOUT TIMOTHY OLEARY
In my 15 years of experience in the technology industry, I have integrated hospitality and entertainment systems with third party providers to create a seamless guest experience. My experience ranges from the Entertainment, Hospitality, Logistics, and Transportation industries where the business success is measured by guest enjoyment. It is my passion to solve complex technology problems and to see my solutions benefit satisfied customers. I work to build new systems using business requirements and to hunt for solutions to challenging production issues. My responsibility in recent years has spanned many technologies and platforms. I have supported and developed on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform and focused on the integration backend services, with some frontend UX. I specialize in Mulesoft Anypoint platform. I use it to handle data orchestration and implementation of data flows, and to create system functionality for the best experience API for end products. This platform also allows me to complete integration leveraging languages such as Java and Groovy, while using XML and XSD to map the data flows.Outside of work, I enjoy hockey games played by all leagues (College, AHL, NHL). Traveling is a passion of mine. For me it is truly the journey not the destination, as my favorite way to travel is to jump in the car and discover the destination as I go. I also enjoy volunteering at a local heritage railroad. One of the projects I am most proud of is the rehabilitation of a 1940’s railroad caboose. As the co-project manager, I was responsible for fundraising, sourcing products, and leading a team of volunteers to bring the caboose back to its glory and get it running on active tracks.Competencies: Java, Mulesoft, Adobe Experience Manager, Jira, Agile Methodologies, Linux, Git, Jenkins, SoapUI, Postman
