ABOUT TIMOTHY HENION

For more than 12 years, I’ve built my career around delivering seamless merchandise technology operations for some of the biggest events in sports and entertainment. From the Daytona 500 and NFL Draft to multiple Super Bowls, the Indy 500, Field of Dreams, and major stadium and racetrack builds—I thrive in high‑pressure, high‑stakes environments where technology has to work.I specialize in large‑scale POS deployments, end‑to‑end event tech setup, networking, on‑site troubleshooting, API-driven integrations, and making sure every register, connection, and workflow performs flawlessly when gates open. Walking into a selling location and figuring out exactly what needs to happen—that’s my favorite part of the job.One highlight: my team and I were asked to program 40+ Square units, travel from Indianapolis to Cleveland, and stand up a full stadium deployment in under 24 hours after their system went down. We delivered, and the event opened on time. I live for moments like that.Over the years, I’ve also grown deeply in IT networking and infrastructure. Working at Legends has given me constant opportunities to learn, test new technology, and solve real world challenges in real time. No two days have been the same for the last decade, and that’s exactly why I love what I do.For the past four years, I’ve managed a team of seven IT professionals supporting users and more than 500 deployed PCs/Macs. We build and support events nationwide, leveraging platforms like Square, Retail Cloud, Bleep, MGMobile, and integrating product loads and sales data back into Infor SX.e and M3 through API workflows.My job is simple: make sure events never fail, and keep our Indianapolis operation running at top performance. None of it would be possible without the team around me, and I’m grateful for the people I get to work alongside every day.
