ABOUT TIM OAKES
Tim Oakes is the President and Chief Executive Officer for Kleinschmidt. He is responsible for providing overarching strategy and leadership for Kleinschmidt throughout North America. Tim\'s background is in the management of Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) licensing efforts for hydroelectric projects. He has managed the regulatory process for numerous hydropower relicensings as well as new hydropower and tidal power development and early stage offshore wind projects. Tim has specific experience preparing National Environmental Policy Act documents, environmental permitting support documents, and designing and conducting environmental studies, primarily in the areas of fish passage, minimum flow, and water quality issues. Tim served two terms as a member of the National Hydropower Association Board of Directors and was a founding co-chair of NHA\'s Marine Energy Council.
