ABOUT TIM AUSTIN
My experience lies within Marine Vessel Build & Maintenance Management with over 30 years working within the Defence Marine Maintenance and Engineering sector. I am current working with the SSN-AUKUS Build Program leading the development of the Operational, Production and Capability requirements for the Submarine Construction Yard and for the SSN-AUKUS Operations functions. Accountable for establishing robust relationships with the Australian Submarine Agency (ASA),the Joint Partner, and other capability partners required to support the execution of work scopes, and contribute to aligning activities with ASC’s Strategy and assisting ASC to meet any relevant contractual deliverables. I have previosly worked on build/commissioning/Engineering Upgrades and In-Service Support Maintenance of the RAN Collins Class Submarine Project, RAN Anzac Class Ships ASMD/AMCAP Upgrades and the Attack Class Future Submarine Project. My key strength is my ability to lead and manage project teams to deliver projects in a timely and professional manner in accordance with the agreed contractual arrangements.
