ABOUT TILLMANN HENSSLER
Manager Diversity, Equity and Inclusion with many years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry. Good skills in category management, negotiation, communication and networking. Experienced professional with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Open University Business School. I like to support people and learn new thingsI am very passionate about supporting colleagues with a disability. For the last 16 years I have held the honorary office of disability council (Schwerbehindertenvertretung) in my organisation supporting for example the workplace management integration program helping colleagues to return to work after a long-term illness or an accident. I am very committed to raising awareness and helping to reduce unconscious bias towards persons with disabilities. I am an engaged member of the Global Disability Leadership Team and Co-Lead for the Disability Chapter of the Diversity & Inclusion Council Europe in my organisation. We support and facilitate the exchange between the Disability Colleague Resource Groups in the markets globally and share best practices and initiatives for example via a virtual forum.Locally I also support our community outreach projects, for example “Schichtwechsel“ – a Berlin wide company action day for new perspectives – employees from companies exchange their jobs for a day with disabled workers from sheltered workshops. It is such a rewarding learning experience for both parties.
