Building strong communities which can take action to win change. I support the development of community leaders, help them to build strong local institutions, and together we win change for the common good. I work mostly with Birmingham Citizens, a civil society alliance that has been active in the city for over a decade. As national lead for our work with the Student Movement, I work to spread understanding of Community Organising, train SU leaders, and support the development of SUs and related organisations.I have trained hundreds of people in Community Organising, from a wide range of backgrounds, ages and professions. I regularly guest lecture on Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses related to Leadership, Community, Public Health, Politics, Communication and more.
