As Chief Technologist for Networking and Connectivity at Softcat, I am responsible for the curation, maturation, development and leadership of the Networking and Connectivity portfolio of technology, vendors, and services to form Softcat’s go-to-market proposition. With over ten years of experience in the IT industry, I have developed expertise in market leading solutions for Network and Connectivity covering a wide range of solutions such as wireless, LAN, WAN, cloud networking, network security and observability, each with their own supporting technology stack, vendor propositions and services.My mission is to provide thought leadership for industry, our internal teams and our customers on how to leverage bleeding-edge technologies to deliver business transformation and innovation. I work with a diverse portfolio of customers, from public sector, corporate and industrial virticals, and take an outcome-based approach to consult on end-to-end solutions from across assessment, design, technology, implementation, and support / managed services. I am passionate about developing and leading the networking and connectivity proposition for Softcat, covering service and solution portfolio development and go-to-market strategy.Today’s ever-changing IT-driven environment means that organisations must keep up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and threats.
