I work alongside account managers to provide independent, expert knowledge around the latest technologies and threats and help recommend best fit solutions to encourage more efficient and secure corporate infrastructures. I work across all areas of IT security but my specialities and core focus are; perimeter security (firewalling, IPS, DLP, VPNs), application security & data security (patch management, encryption, load-balancing, acceleration, authentication) & endpoint security (web, email, data, mobile). I also work across all areas of networking; from routing to switching to WAN optimisation and implementation. My role is to provide clients with a unified approach to networking and security, designing the core and distributed infrastructure, achieving their goals in terms of speed and connectivity and then securing the infrastructure to give our clients a single point of contact for these mission-critical areas.
