Buzzi Unicem USA is a major cement manufacturer with eight plants and an annual production capacity of 8 million metric tons. The company operates thirty terminals distributing cement in twenty-one states. Responsible for engineering and technical management of cement plant capital projects to ensure successful operation on time within budget. Also responsible for site construction management of mechanical, civil, structural, electrical and control system installations to resolve problems and concerns and assure that site contractors and project staff meet all safety standards and requirements. Current projects include two Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction (SNCR) systems for NOx reduction and a dry sorbent injection (DSI) system for HCl emission compliance.
